Description

Clara Paul Paige papers and memorabilia were assembled by her niece, Jane McKaskle, and include photographs, scrapbooks, clippings, and a 1922 letter from Jane Addams to Clara Paul Paige, papers regarding Amelia Sears (a close personal friend of Paige's), an essay by Herman McKaskle (Jane McKaskle's husband), material regarding the 1960 Jane Addams centennial, including the Jane Addams memorial medal, a tape of the centennial dinner in San Francisco, clippings and copies of articles on the centennial, and material about twelve "Human Endeavor" windows in the San Francisco's Grace Cathedral (Jane Addams is represented in one window and Jane McKaskle took part in the commemoration ceremony). These materials are being temporarily held together.
