Biographical Text

Ella Browning Tucker graduated from Rockford College with Jane Addams in 1881. During college, she was elected Secretary of the Vesperian Society. After graduation, she became a teacher.

Tucker married Arthur Tucker in 1887. They had three children, Margerite, William, and Frederick.
