Jane Addams Favors Fashion's Scant Garb

Pittsburgh, Sept. 23. -- "The styles [today] are more sensible than ever," said Jane Addams, of Hull House, Chicago, in an address here [today] at the Social Workers' conference.

"I do not believe that women are being degraded by the fashions. The less clothes we can wear with modesty the better it is. It is better for the health and allows more freedom of movement."
