Dear Miss Addams:-
I forgot to say in my last letter that we shall of course expect you to stay at the University as our guest, and wish to defray your [traveling] expenses. When you reach the depot any colored hackman will bring you to our door. Ask him to leave you at South Hall, and be particular to say Atlanta University, west Mitchell street. I wired last Tuesday for a short report of your speech for northern papers. This is to circumvent the Associated Press which will ignore or misquote us. If you have not had time to prepare this however let it go and do not worry over it.
