My dear Manuel

I am very grateful for your good letter, which came yesterday and as a fair reward I am sending you a copy of a postal card which came the same day from Mrs. Breshkovsky. Isn't she the wonder!

I leave this afternoon for Bar Harbor [although] I am going via Philadelphia in order to see more Peace loving Quakers there -- I join Mary Smith and Mrs Bowen a few days later.

I am so glad that you are all to be out of the Kansas heat in July as well as August. I shall certainly see you the [page 2] latter month and I am finding it very hard to wait until then.

With love to your wife and daughter -- how grand it sounds! -- Love always your affectionate aunt
