My dear Miss Hennefeld:

Your letter of December 16th addressed to Miss Addams has been referred to this office and I take great pleasure in sending you under separate cover what material we have for distribution on the subject of compulsory military training.

I regret to say, however, that we have not very much on this subject just now, but I would call your attention to the Abridged Debater's Handbook on Military Training, compiled by Miss Corinne Bacon, which contains briefs, bibliographies and arguments pro and con. This has been especially arranged for the use of high school and college debaters and is sold for twenty-five cents. In case you would care to have a copy of this Handbook, we should be very glad indeed to send you this for the above amount.

If we can be of any other assistance, please let us know.

Sincerely yours,

Office Secretary

Miss Lela Hennefeld,
1103 N. Dearborn St.,
Chicago, Illinois.
