I just came across this page, and as I am a researcher writing a dissertation about the life of Frieda Hauswirth Das, I was curious to know why she is listed on your site, do you have any more information about the connection of Jane Addams to Frieda Hauswirth Das, and to her husband Sarangadhar Das, who is also listed in your "People"'s list?
Hi Claire, We have a letter in 1921 from Taraknath Das to Jane Addams that mentions her. We have not published it yet because we need repository permissions from the WILPF Collection in Colorado.
