My dear Miss Breckinridge:

Following out Professor Taylor's motion at the luncheon [today], that a smaller committee be appointed for the purposes expressed in his motion (see the minutes enclosed), Miss Addams announces the following appointment: Miss S. P. Breckinridge, Miss Grace Abbott, Mr. Henry C. Morris, Prof. George H. Mead, Mr. Louis P. Lochner and Miss Addams. The first meeting of the committee is to take place in the headquarters of the peace forces, 116 S. Michigan Avenue, at four o'clock on Tuesday afternoon next, August 3d. I hope that you can be present.

If for any reason you should desire an extra copy of the two resolutions submitted by the New York group and Norman Angell, I shall be glad to supply you.
