My dear Miss Addams:

I have just heard from my sister Mrs Wiles relative to furnishing the O W D Lansingh Cottage. I enclose herewith my check for $500 for that purpose, to bring a joint contribution from both of us.

I quote as follows from Mrs Wiles letter to me "I feel very strongly that [page 2] I should like to have the cottage given complete, even to the plastering should it become necessary."

I trust that this check will satisfactorily complete the furnishings. With kindest regards I remain
