NATIONAL FEDERATION OF SETTLEMENTS

Office of the Secretary
20 Union Park, Boston, Mass.

Dear Miss Addams --

I should very much like the chance to go over some of the aspects of the New York situation both with you & John Elliott. If it still fits in with your plans may I take the night train from Boston on Tuesday the 23rd, returning on the 26th?

Miss Coolidge is writing [page 2] you about the Fellowship & Miss Dewar -- & has also written to Mrs Barnett. In fairness to Mr Byron we ought to make a decision shortly. I should like to wait an additional week in order to hear from certain letters. Then we can send out a statement to the Executive Committee listing the applicants & explaining why, in the opinion of the Fellowship Committees, Mr. Byron seems to be best qualified.

Faithfully yours

Albert Kennedy
