My dear Miss [Addams],

May I express to you my deep appreciation and that of our faculty for the tribute of admiration and affection for our Miss Harrison.

We wish so much that you might have been with us at the memorial service. Dr. Edwin Lewis gave a very beautiful picture of Miss Harrison -- it seemed as if he caught the essence of her personality and of her service.

We are printing the program of the service and including his address. I shall see that you receive a copy.
