Dear Miss Addams,
I took the liberty of asking you, the last week of December 25, on behalf of the German Section, whether you would be kind enough to lecture in some of our groups on your way to or from Ireland.
As our groups write me asking for proposals for their summer work, [page 2] I would highly appreciate a word from you telling us whether you received my letter and whether you think that your plans may work out in the way that you could fulfill our Christmas wish.
