Transcript.

We confirm that Miss Hedwig Segers practiced with us in time from July 1st to December 28th, 1924. In fact, she helped in the summer months in our convalescent home for small children and also often helped in our children's home for neglected children. From mid-August she has worked in our children's reading room, our young girls' night home, our school nursing club, the Lütter evening and our Sunday afternoon event for street children. It was not always easy for her to cope with our large group of children. She is all the more loyal [illegible] worked with individual children with true social and psychological understanding. She earned the love of all our children. What we valued most was her high attitude towards work. It was not an hour too late and not an hour early for her, no way too far and difficult when it came to a service for our work. For the sake of this valuable attitude, we very much regretted her departure, because only such people can be used for settlement work. She has gained many new friends through many numerous propagandistic letters about our work. Her whole heart was behind everything she started and we all felt that. She also helped us with home visits in our juvenile court service. Saying goodbye to her was only easy for us because we hope that one day she will return, because we deeply hope that then, like all of us, our work will become a piece of home for her. So we wish her all the best and God's richest blessings in all her endeavors.
