NATIONAL FEDERATION OF SETTLEMENTS
Dear Mr. Bryon:
I have opened the box and package which you sent me for the exhibit, and I am charmed beyond measure with the weaving and the pottery. I should like to include in the catalog the names of persons actually making the objects and the price of the object or a duplicate. I enclose a list of the exhibits. Could you have the information which is needed supplied on the enclosed sheets. I feel sure that there will be orders for duplicates of certain of the exhibits.
I am very much interested in the decorative quality in certain of the drawings. I miss very much some of the small things which Miss Smith let me take for the Washington exhibit of 1922. Would it be possible to borrow some of them from her?
Though I hate to burden you while on a vacation, I should be very grateful if you would send me a little account of the development of pottery at Hull House. Who is responsible for the design and color, which is individual and very beautiful?
I am more pleased than I can say that you are planning to visit Boston, and I hope you will reserve a little time for me. We can, I am sure, put you up at the house if you would care to stay here.
Very sincerely yours,
Albert Kennedy [signed]
