NATIONAL FEDERATION OF SETTLEMENTS

Office of the Secretary
20 Union Park, Boston, Mass.

Dec. 10, 1924.

Miss Jane Addams,
800 South Halsted St.,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Miss Addams:

I have your telegram, but it does not clear up the question as to whether you will be able to attend the conference. I have written to Capt. Ellis asking him whether if the National Conference of Social Work delayed its meeting for a year it would be wise for the Federation of Settlements to follow. I feel quite strongly that you must be present at the next conference and I am sure the other members of the Continuation Committee would unanimously agree to postpone for a year if you cannot go abroad in 1925. Will you please let me know how this matter stands.

Faithfully yours,

Albert Kennedy [signed]
