NATIONAL FEDERATION OF SETTLEMENTS

Office of the Secretary
20 Union Park, Boston, Mass.

March 6, 1924.

Miss Jane Addams,
800 South Halsted St.,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Miss Addams:

You will, I am sure, recollect that a motion was passed at the February 22nd meeting directing the President to appoint a committee to [cooperate] with the Foreign Secretary in directing Miss Peck's study of settlements and local community work in Germany. Mr. Woods has appointed the following committee:

Dr. John L. Elliott, chairman
Jane Addams
Lillian D. Wald

Miss Coolidge will, I know, communicate with you in the near future. I am sending you a copy of this letter to the other members of the committee.

I hope very much that you may be willing to serve on this committee.

Very sincerely yours,

Albert Kennedy [signed]

↑The above is a copy of a letter to Dr. Elliott. I will send you a copy of the minutes of the meeting in a few days.↓
