Friday Morning
Dear Miss Addams.
I am leaving these few flowers to add a little comfort to your room -- and I am hoping that I may see you for a few minutes as this is my last day [page 2] in Tokyo. We are going to the mountains, Chugenji, with our little boy tomorrow early. If you don't feel up to it I shall understand -- please call on my husband for anything -- he is returning to Tokyo next Tuesday morning [page 3] and will be at the Embassy.
