Dear Miss Addams.

The Rotary Club of Tientsin wishes to extend to you an invitation to be their guest and to address them while you are in China.

Tientsin has a flourishing American community, is eighty miles from Peking on the railing from Shanghai to Peking and I am sure that you would enjoy stopping over in Tientsin.

Our regular meetings are held at noon on Thursdays, but if it will suit your convenience we will be glad to call a special meeting on any other day that you can be with us.

Ladies are not invited to the noon meetings of the Rotary Club and we would much rather arrange an evening meeting to give the ladies of Tientsin an opportunity to meet you.
