Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers Journal
B. OF L. E. BUILDING
CLEVELAND. OHIO

To the Officers and Executive Board of the National Council for Reduction of Armaments: --
We enclose herewith a copy of the October JOURNAL, containing on pages 731 and 732 an editorial entitled “ANOTHER WAR”, and reviewing on pages 758 and 759 eight of the best books on the causes and effects of war.
We feel very keenly that if another war comes the responsibility will rest inescapably upon the churches and the labor unions of America, which guard respectively the spiritual and industrial resources of the nation. Without their cooperation there can be no war. And only by their united intelligent effort can war be forever abolished.
Faithfully yours,
Albert Coyle [signed]
