Friday Night 16-6-22.

My dear Miss Addams,

I do not want to leave this country without having said "[goodbye]" to you. The more I am going to be at a distance from the last weeks, the more I feel what a wonderful experience and Bereicherung (enrichment?) this trip was for me. I go home with a wonderful inspiration & hope I shall be able [page 2] to do some useful work. Thank you each so much for all you kindness towards me. I hope we have not been too great a trouble for you. -- Hull House is like a place of rest & harmony in my memory & one of the deepest impressions in my mind. -- It is beautiful to know that we shall meet again next year [in] some corner of Europe. [page 3] My very best wishes to Hull House & all who come & go there & most cordial thanks again to Miss Smith for her very kind hospitality. Please, let me know, whether I can do anything for you in [page 4] Germany or elsewhere in Europe.

Most cordial yours gratefully,

Gertrud Baer
