Miss Jane Addams,
800 South Halsted St.,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Miss Addams:

Many thanks for your letter and for the clipping. I wonder what kind of work the author regards as really successful! It seems neither quite [a] religious criticism nor a socialistic criticism.

I note what you say about preferring to speak in the morning and I will arrange the program to meet your wishes.

I am making a few preliminary reservations for those who are to take part in the program. Will you please let me know if you have any preference in the way of a room. Do you prefer to be alone, or will you have one or more companions? Did you like your accommodations at the last conference and would you wish to be located in the same place as at that time?

Very sincerely yours,

Albert Kennedy [signed]
