Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Illinois.
Dear Miss Addams:
I am venturing to give this note of introduction to you to Miss Rose Goodman who served as my secretary during Miss Stark's absence a year ago last summer. She had formerly acted as such for Professor Wesley C. Mitchell, one of our leading specialists in education, and subsequently, while living at home in Boston, attended the School of Social Work there.
She is anxious, I think, to stay on in Chicago where she has been visiting and has, as you see, a rare combination of equipment.
Sincerely,
