My dear Miss Addams:

Miss Landazuri said she does not know Miss [Velázquez]-Bringas. Miss [Arias] Bernal is the Principal of the girl's normal school whom I met. She is an unusually fine woman. Miss Landazuri also said ↑that has learned that↓ she is now suffering from tuberculosis. I am extremely sorry as she would have been a fine representative of ↑The↓ Women's League for P. & F. in Mexico.

The seeming quiet in the Mexican situation may be the "lull before the storm." [page 2]

I have just read your article in the last New Republic with pleasure. It should be confusing to the men in power. But can they be convinced.

Cordially yours

Zonia Baber.
