TO THE MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE:
At the fifty-first meeting of the Executive Committee of the Chicago Peace Society on Monday noon, November 8th, it was voted that Mr. Fisher be appointed a committee of one to formulate a statement of the policy of the Society with reference to the subject of national defense, and he agreed to do so on condition that he receive a statement from each member of the Executive Committee embodying that member's views.
May I not request you kindly to formulate a statement, and to send it to Mr. Fisher at your earliest convenience?
