Mary Ryott Sheepshanks to Jane Addams, June 21, 1915

1, Barton Street,
Westminster.

June 21.

Dear Miss Addams.

I heard from Bertrand Russell that he will be very pleased to dine here Wed. at 8. to meet you. I have no answer yet from Mr Dickinson, but hope he will come too. I live very simply here, so please do not dress.

I hope I may have the pleasure of welcoming Miss Hamilton with you. It was very good of you to let me arrange this meeting & I hope it will be useful. Mr Russell will [page 2] be ready to go to America on Saturday if it seems likely to be useful.

This street is off Great College St, just behind the Abbey.

If you walk, it is five minutes from your hotel, when you get to the end of Victoria St go through Dean's Yard, & this is the other side. If you drive, go down Great Smith St.

Thank you for coming this morning.

Yours very sincerely

Mary Sheepshanks.
