My dear Miss Addams: -
May I add my Voice to the many who must be repressing their deep feeling at the formation of the Woman's Peace Party & their gratitude that you have accepted its Presidency.
With no personal suffering from the War, it has been from the beginning a personal tragedy to me, not only its waste, its horrors, its suffering but flouting of all our striving upward. [page 2]
I would like to be vitally Connected with the movement & would be glad if you see that I may do my Share, by voice & word & deed.
I have severed my connection with the Council of Jewish Women (National) & am aching to use such powers as I have in some big Cause.
Trusting that the success of the Woman's Peace Party may be commensurate with the need for it,
