My dear Miss Addams;

Mr. Brett, the president of the Macmillan Company, writes me that if you will be kind enough to send him a list of the places in which you are to lecture, he will do whatever can be done to bring the book "Democracy and Social Ethics" to the attention of the people and book dealers at the time. If this does not reach you in Chicago, I have no doubt that it will fall into the hands of someone who will give it attention, and I trust that at once a complete list, places and dates where you lecture, may be sent to Mr. Brett.
