My dear Sir,

Answering your favor of recent date to Miss Addams I regret to say that it would be impossible for her to go to Oberlin at the time you mention, but she would be glad to do so on her way east later in the month. She has an engagement in Rome, N.Y. for the evening of March 24th and could lecture for you on the 23rd if trains permit, or, she could stop on her way home early in April, if you prefer.
