April 10, 1914.
My dear Mr. Starbuck,
I was very much interested in your plan, but I am afraid that I have no suggestions to make. The earlier books certainly would have to be written by people who are accustomed to writing for children, and certainly those up to the fourteenth would have to be done in the form of narratives and stories.
With all good wishes for the plan, and regret that I can be of no service, I am,
Very sincerely yours,
Jane Addams. [signed]
