Camden, Maine, Sept. 2, 1912
Dear Miss Kellor,
Curiously enough, I was in negotiation with Miss Jane Addams here at Bar Harbor for some work along exactly the same lines that you suggest in your note, and of course I must first carry these negotiations to an end before I can say anything definite to you. I want to do precisely the plan that you suggest. I am sorry you were not a bit earlier.
If you want to see me, however, nevertheless I shall be at the Hotel Belmont the last of next week.
Believe me,
Very cordially yours,
(signed) Edward Bok.
Miss Frances A. Kellor.
