I am sorry but I really cannot promise any more speaking for Wisconsin save the two engagements which you are now arranging for.

I have promised to give some time to Ohio and Michigan in the fall and that is all I can possibly do. Your country fair [plan] sounds extremely good but I regret that I cannot share it.
