Dear Madam: --

I have followed your articles in McClure's with much interest and in reading your last contribution notice that you say that in Wyoming the age of consent is 21.

While it is true that a women in this State does not reach her majority until she is 21 years of age and cannot exercise the right of [suffrage] until such age is reached, the age of consent under the Statutes is 18.

I write this in no spirit of criticism, but with the sole intention of advising you of a mistake made [doubtlessly] inadvertently.
