My dear Miss James: --
I shall hope very much to see you during my stay in Milwaukee. I arrive there from Madison on the 10.55 Friday morning, and at noon I address the City Club at luncheon. There is a reception in the afternoon and a speech in the evening.
Perhaps it would be better to make the appointment with you on Saturday morning -- say, about nine o'clock. If there is a train to Chicago about eleven I could then take that and get back here in time for luncheon.
Hoping very much that this will be possible and anticipating seeing you with much pleasure, I am
Jane Addams. [signed]Miss Ada James
