Oct. 25th, 1903.

My dear Mr. Forbush,

You are a member, as you doubtless know, of the Committee on Neighborhood Improvement which has had an evening and one or two section meetings assigned to its use at the National Conference to be held in Portland in June.

May I ask you to send me [page 2] any suggestions you may have as to topics which might profitably be treated at the Portland meeting and as far as possible, further suggestions as to speakers, as we are expected to make a preliminary report [through] last of November.

I should be grateful for a reply at your earliest convenience and promise to send to each member a tentative program promptly upon the receipt of the various letters,

Faithfully yours,

Jane Addams
