My dear Miss Surles:

I think Miss Balch felt that as Dr. Jordan's paper was not delivered as a lecture to the Summer School, it could not come in with those papers. But as we are printing nothing about Japan from the School it seems to me quite fair to put this into the series. I should put it through and send $1000 to Miss Glücklich.
