THE MIYAJIMA HOTEL, MIYAJIMA
Miyajima, June 20" 1923
My dear Esther --
Here we are in Japan at last and on our last lap, as it were.
We have stopped here for two days before we get into the social and speaking arrangements which [seem] to await us in the cities. We will be in Kobe tonight and then on to Osaka and so forth. We were met at the [wharf] by a "welcoming committee" and are having the most charming hospitality everywhere.
I do hope that Jane has gotten off to Colorado. I will send Mrs [Dawson] a check in the fall. How are Eri's plans coming out for next year? With love to the family
Always your loving Aunt
