Le Baron Russell Briggs to Jane Addams, October 3, 1911

October 3, 1911

My dear Miss Addams,

Is there the least hope that, if you are to be in the neighborhood of Boston at any time in this academic year, I can arrange for you to speak at a mass meeting of the students in Radcliffe College? We have nothing to offer for these meetings except the opportunity to help. The speaker speaks for forty or forty-five minutes, and after the speaking meets the students informally in the Living Room of Agassiz House. There is a very warm wish on the part of [our] students to hear your and, though I am asking a great deal, I hope you will [illegible]

[Sincerely] yours,
L. B. R. Briggs [signed]
