WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM
Hull-House
Chicago -- Jany 23d 1925
My dear Mrs Hull
How kind you are to write me so fully of the situation and I am also grateful for the telegram you sent. It seems to me that you managed it awfully well and that we were most fortunate in the publicity. I am so glad that the members of the Board are finally agreed on the withdrawal, it was finely put, I think. How curious the whole misunderstanding has become and how complicated with a thousand motives.
I think that St Louis would be fine for the meeting, would April be best or the last half of May and do the St Louis people really want us? I will write more again but I am sending this off with all my affection and devotion. Hastily yours Jane Addams
