Jane Addams to Anna Marcet Haldeman-Julius, August 4, 1922

My dear Marcet --

I am sending some trifles to the children to make up for my dereliction in the way of presents when I came to Cedarville. I assume that you are still there and I hope that the book is having its innings. Miss Wald has been here for a week and she has asked most affectionately for you. Some summer we must have the children [page 2] here -- Mary little niece Ellen aged four is quite enchanted with the place and we with her. My dearest love to you always & kisses to the children in which Mary Smith joins.

Always devotedly yours

Jane Addams
