My dear Miss Addams:

I have been thinking continually about the matters of which we talked when I was in Chicago. I have also examined with considerable care the Vice Commission's report.

I do not know whether you have read Professor Ford's article in the January Scribner's on the cause of political corruption in the United States. That is the best and most illuminating article ever written on this subject.

I shall hope to see you sometime in July.

Faithfully yours,
