My dear Miss Addams:
Your kind letter of February 8th, enclosing letter from Mr. A. Holden Byles, Editor, British Institute of Social Service, received and I will answer it as you suggest.
The City Club was altogether too generous to me. I regretted so much that I was not able to stay and hear you and Mrs. Bowen When I returned Monday evening I noted the favorable comments and gratification that your presence and good words brought forth, and which would have gratified you both.
Sincerely yours,
P.S. I enclose a copy of letter I mailed to Mr. A. Holden Byles, and if you have the time I wish you would read it.
B. B. L.
