WOMEN TO SAVE LEAGUE
Their Organizations Will Avert Future Wars, Says Jane Addams.
Chicago, Nov. 2. -- The women of the world will save the League of Nations.
This is the opinion of Miss Jane Addams, founder of Hull House and president of the Women's International League for Peace, who spoke at the meeting of the Congregational ministers at the Masonic Temple recently.
"International animosities are gradually subsiding as a result of the inspired principles of the league, which, despite its rejection by the United States, is one of the chief causes for the friendly attitude of European peoples for America," Miss Addams said.
"Through the organization of women of every nationality future wars will be averted. The Women's International represents the flower of womanhood and the highest ideals of civilization of every nation."
