's-Gravenhage, Dec. 12th 1924.

Dear Miss Addams,

I sincerely hope that you will have a very happy Xmas and new year, surrounded by all your dear friends in and out Hull House.

I never can forget the happy time I spent in Hull House and the many very kind and sympathetic people I met there. Will you be so kind to give all of them my greetings and [page 2] best wishes and to Miss Weeks and her very kind servant my thanks for all they did for me.

The translation and publishing of my memoirs are in a very uncertain state. The translation was not good and for that reason the whole manuscript is in hands of a Dutchman living in London. He always answers my questions about it, "that he is working on it and hopes to be ready in due time." I am not sure it will ever be finished.

With very kind greetings, affectionately yrs.

Aletta H. Jacobs.
