My dear Miss Addams,

It gives me much pleasure to send you a copy of the resolutions adopted after your visit to our Woman's Conference. These words are very inadequate to express our appreciation of your visit to us and to the school on that morning when you were fatigued from your journey. But we wish to have you know something of our gratitude, and hope that you have already taken the people of this little land into your heart.
