Dear Miss Addams:
My Hull House stay meant ever so much to me and that [illegible] of ours [upstairs] and down and through the whole chambered nautilus of the Settlement, is a thing I shall long treasure in memory. No wonder Hull House has stood the gusts of those war years when it has its rootholds so deep.
And thank you for sending me that drawing by William Roberts.
Sincerely,
Miss Jane Addams
