My dear Alice
[Enclosed] please find ten dollars for the photography of the portrait, if you find that you can have it done without too much difficulty.
I am sending a gown to Mary Fry which I thought she might like to wear when she goes north and I have put in an old family table cloth which was embroidered at the shop -- [page 2] thinking that you might possibly care for it.
We are going to motor to Lakeside Michigan tomorrow afternoon, returning Saturday night or Sunday.
With love to the household
Always your loving sister
