My dear Miss Addams:
Do let me thank you for the copy of "Peace and Bread" which you were so good as to send to Mrs. Bok and myself. I have now had a chance to read it. Of course, many of the essays were familiar to me, having read your views in other ways and at other times. But I don't see that the [page 2] chapter on Mr. Wilson should be so heartrending to his friends.
Looking back with the greatest pleasure to your little visit to Mountain Lake, and with assurances of my sincere respect, believe me,
Very cordially yours,
Edward W. Bok [signed]
Miss Jane Addams
