Dear Madam:

We beg to acknowledge your letter of the 25th, returning with endorsement supplied check of your organization on the First National Bank, Chicago for $1,000, which check we are crediting to the account already established on our books as called to our attention by your letter. We regret that this should have been overlooked at the time of our previous communication and thank you for sending us the additional card.

Upon referring to the signatures already filed with us as applicable to the account we find that of Miss Emily Balch of your Geneva Office so that the matter of signatures would appear to be in order and in accordance with your wishes.

As requested we are notifying Miss Balch at 6, rue du Vieux-College, Geneva of the receipt of the $1,000 credited today.
