My dear Miss Addams:

Please except thanks for your letter of April 19th, which, however, I have deferred answering ere this preferring to await the wishes and decision on the subject of both Mrs. Schwabacher and Mr. Leslie J. Schwabacher.

Am pleased to advise that they have authorized me to say to you that the transfer by the Hull House Trustees to the Board of Trustees of the University of Chicago is satisfactory, subject to the request, however, that either the library or gymnasium of the Boys Club building should bear the name of the donor.

If you can consistently arrange accordingly, I know that both Mrs. Schwabacher and Mr. Schwabacher will very much appreciate your [cooperation], and I also respectfully join them.
