Jane Addams to Anita McCormick Blaine, November 26, 1921

International Office: Geneva
6 Rue du Vieux-College

26 November 1921.

My dear Mrs. Blaine: --

I am sure you know how grateful I was for your generous contribution to the Vienna Congress. I have meant ever since I returned to send you a little account of the Congress and the summer school, and tell you how successful we considered both of them.

The appeal for funds in Vienna was responded to very generously in spite of the poverty in Europe, and if we are able to keep to the budget, which was carefully made out, we will have enough for the care of the International office until March 1923 - within three months of our next [biennial], which probably will be held in Copenhagen.

I am sending you some printed material, although later you will receive a full report of the Congress.

I hope that I will see you soon, and be able to tell you more in detail about it.

Faithfully yours,

Jane Addams [signed]
